Actually everything was perfectly fine, my next choice again in Sheffield. Fairly clean place, stuff was efficient and attentive. Its location within easy walking distance of Bandstand was incredible. The restaurant was nice at both the bar and the restaurant, I tried excellent dishes.

The rooms were airy and fabulous with a kingsize bed, nothing too much trouble. The venue's position was central.

The hotel was well situated for where we wanted to be and proved to be good value for money. Accommodation was comfortable, roomy and well appointed. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The restaurant was good and we appreciated the chef's comments about different items on the menu.
There were no allocated car parking spaces for hotel residents (or none that we could identify) and it proved difficult to park one night when we returned to the hotel at about 10.30 p.m. as a wedding party was in full swing! We were not affected by the wedding party in any way - i.e. noise etc., and the hotel itself was fine.

Fabulous room. Unfortunately cannot comment on the lunch as we had to return home early due to illness! Very comfortable bed. Lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay again.
Unfortunately got the wrong breakfast as waitress gave the wrong order to the kitchen. However, she did offer to put it right.

The staff were very helpful, polite and welcoming. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated and mostly clean. The setee in the room was marked though and this let the room down.
Not really. I think it would benefit from some new chairs in the restaurant but otherwise all good.

Great hotel with lovely art deco touches. Large rooms with separate sofa and plenty of desk space. Staff are great and really make this hotel stand out. Free wifi that actually works - unlike so many hotels. Great value for money. I would stay there again. In fact I already am, I'm typing this from my hotel room back at the Staindrop Lodge!

Pleasant facilities but the hilight was the Bistro excellent food
Was dissappointed in the fact that your website had not been updated as I took the option offered for a smoking room only to be told there is no smoking allowed.

Request an extra blanket at check-in for added comfort during colder nights without being too warm.
